About SGC
History
I have been lawn mowing since I was about 7. My Grandad was very particular about most things including lawns. He insisted that I picked up the edge clippings, cut by long handled shears, by hand before the lawn was mowed. If he was not pleased with the result you knew about it!!!
I was given a 'garden' at my Grandads house and allowed to grow what I liked.
I had a very large garden and lawn with our house in the UK, which was completely overgrown when we bought it and I cleared it and transfored into a fantastic useable space good for children to playand growing fantastic fruit and veg.
In the blood
My mums brother worked in a foundry producing Qualcast mowers. My elder brother not only worked for a council parks department but then went on to build mowers for a commercial company who specialsied in bowling green/ cricket pitch mowers.
My Aunt had a huge passion for gardening her knowledge and passion for gardening continues to be a huge inspiration. She was also a terrific cook using the fruit she had grown to make terriffic chutneys, jams and marmalades, something Fi loves to do too!

I am so pleased to be finally working for myself. It is something I have always wanted but never thought I would get the opportunity. I really enjoy working outdoors. I love being my own boss, setting my own timetable and my own personal goals. It also gives me the flexibility to work around my family.
Fantastic to have the family fully supporting me and backing me all the way. Go Team Blest!!
